HS2

LONDON – BIRMINGHAM – LEEDS

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Since 2017 I have been involved with steering and reviewing geomorphological/ hydromorphological assessments for lengths of the new HS2 route from Euston to Birmingham (now in construction) and ongoing studies for HS2b (Crewe to Manchester and Leeds). This principally involves potential impact of new piers and crossings on the channels and floodplains and some realignments.
